2026-03-19.2_different possibilities for describing workers

different possibilities for describing a (capitalistic) worker/work:

  • a person that must sell off (a significant amount of) their labor-power/body-mind to another in order to survive

  • a person that must rent out (a significant amount of) their labor-power/body-mind to another to survive

  • a person that must actively contribute to their own exploitation and the enrichment of another to their own (and their community’s) ultimate deficit

  • a person whose use of (a significant amount of) their labor-power/body-mind is not autonomous, and is instead extracted for ultimate purpose of domination and capital accumulation

  • a person that should hate/oppose work, aim to abolish it, and replace it with autonomous, community-oriented activity for their collective sake
